Creation of Love & Friendship

Love & Friendship is something that does not always come naturally; it has to be created by people. People who are willing to employ love & friendship in their lives will ensure that they do all they can to create them. There are several things that you must do if you want to have good friends who actually love you. The first thing is to be a good friend. The only way that good people can be attracted to you is when you are good and loving. This is the only sure way to ensure that you get what you give. If you are a mean selfish friend, there is no need to be alarmed when you find out that there is no one who would like to be close to you. It really has to start with a change of attitude and behavior. This is not to say that you need to be perfect; we all have some room for improvement. However, there are some major principles that you need to keep in mind if you really want the relationships that will suit you. Love has to grow and in order for it to do so, time must pass. This is to say that time will be paramount for a good relationship to blossom.
Love & Friendship will only grow if you recognize how to utilize the time you have. Just like any other investment, you must ensure that every moment goes into making the relationship stronger. For example, you have to create time from your busy schedule to go out and catch up with potential friends. It is a matter of finding the right time to connect. Weekends are good because this is the time that most people are free to share and reflect. Many people have lost track when it comes to Love & Friendship. This is because a huge chunk of their time goes into their busy work schedules. We forget that the most important thing in life is the people who we are close; those we love. Many die lonely people after marrying their careers and forgetting that all is vain apart from the love of friends that you give and receive. It is wise to think about this critically and ensure that you enrich your life with all the right stuff.

Display of friendship

When you have close people who you love and adore, you will not have any problem with display of friendship. Display of friendship is something that all people who are in deep relationships do. It comes automatically and people around will know for sure that you and your friends are close. In these modern times, trust has been broken in many friendships relationships and it is for this reason that you need to work extra hard when it comes to maintaining your relations. You do not have to show the whole world that you are friends so that you can qualify as friends. It all starts in the heart and this is all that matters. Before you display the friendship for everyone to see, it is vital for you to have some good tips on how to create the friendships that will last. Those friendships that last are based on mutual trust and affection. The first thing is to look around and see those people who can qualify to become your friends. The main thing that people look for in friends is compatibility.

For any relationship to take of, people must have similar interests so that they can have something to talk about. This is the only way that friendships form as people learn to appreciate each other. The display of friendship will be possible only if there is compatibility. Therefore, look for friends in all the places that you like to frequent. If you play a particular sport, look around for interesting people and, there is no doubt that you will meet them. Many people never take time to look around yet they complain that there are no good friends. Friendship is a deliberate choice and if you feel that your life will be better with friends, it is time to work towards this. If you are used to the display of friendship from your peers, it is time you also got a good friend who you can show of. It is really not about showing of but, it is about celebrating the friendship or the union.

Suggestions of Friendship

"Life has no blessing like a prudent friend" - Euripides (BC)

"The only way to have a friend is to be one. . . A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud." - Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Getting people to like you is the starting point, and it should be fairly easy to do. People have a basic need to be liked themselves, and by showing your appreciation of them, they will return your feelings. Praise given out sincerely is a great act of friendship. Be kind, pleasant, calm, and a good listener. Try to see the good, not the bad qualities in people. Smile.

"The rule of friendship means there should be mutual sympathy between them, each supplying what the other lacks and trying to benefit the other, always using friendly and sincere words." - Buddha (BC)

As a friend, try to let an unfavorable incident or remark fly right over the top of your head. We all blurt out something stupid or do something regrettable at times, and it's so nice when the other acts as if it never happened. This is a dear friend.

"I destroy my enemy when I make him my friend" - Abe Lincoln (1809-1865)

Definataion of Friendship

Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each others company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.

Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating the following on a consistent basis:

* the tendency to desire what is best for the other,
* sympathy and empathy,
* honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one's counterpart,
* mutual understanding.

In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than association, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations. Friendship and association can be thought of as spanning across the same continuum. The study of friendship is included in sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and zoology. Various theories of friendship have been proposed, among which are social psychology, social exchange theory, equity theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.
